
Biotechnology
The Biotechnology program prepares students for entry into the world of Biotechnology which includes applications in medicine, veterinary medicine, forensics, and agriculture just to name a few.
This exciting course will offer students an opportunity to explore techniques or technological applications that use biological systems or living organisms to create or modify biological organisms to make products that benefit human beings. This rapidly growing field offers students the opportunity to perform experiments ranging from DNA fingerprinting to Human Genome Project and immunodiagnostics. During this course students learn about viruses, bacteria, sub cloning DNA, and DNA sequencing.
